Carp, carp, carp!  I have not been good this weekend. I've been at a seminar since Wednesday night and oh, the poor dietary choices and decisions....  I apologize in advance to my team members. greensad.gif

i am full press ahead, having now had a normal heavy menstrual period (so much for being in menopause and i've fired that doctor). now i will see if my body requires me to be 150 in order to bleed (whilest i am also nursing) or if i can drop to the low 140's again and still bleed, now that i'm going to go in that direction for a second time.

i'm in a "maintenance contest" for the summer, we weighed in around memorial day and will weigh out again on august 25. i weighed 141 when we weighed in, and then put on some pounds during the whole "menopause" scare, which is now disproven (and the gyno laughed at the doctor's diagnosis, too). anyway, it was obviously easier and more fun to eat with reckless abandon, and i'm now "enjoying" my stomach growling in the evenings, but that's one way i know to get the pounds to drop, don't eat after 5 pm.

i weighed at 148.8 this morning (sunday), had a good lunch although it was in a restaurant, and those always have sodium and hidden calories. but have done well since then...

Monday morning weighin is 244.0 pounds.  Not quite as good as yesterday but definitely a loss.  Writing down what I eat helps, even when it isn't the best choices!  Onto more exercise.

Glad that you got that issue sorted out.  I would have fired the doc too.

My kidney is A-ok according to the scan, so that is great news.  However, I forgot to weigh this morning, and when I weighed tonight, the scales say I'm three kilos heavier... I think they need a new battery, so I will grab one and check back in after I have re-weighed to confirm.  Pretty sure I've been too good to cop a three kilo gain!

Well, after 4 hours of exercise, no snacks at VBS, and being good in my choice of eating I'm only at 138.2! Bummer.eyesroll.gif I didn't check my weight all week until Friday morning and then I was 137.6 but somehow I managed to go back up. Sorry red team.

Monday morning weigh in 138.2

159.6

minus 2 lb,

in the past i would have been loosing heart about that number

but now.... in my housekeeping folder, i have a pen and paper chart

and i can see that at the beginning of the previous challenge i was at 165.7

SO ... although i would find it MUCH easier to loose all the weight VERY quickly

i can see that i have been consistant over the last few months, if very slow ....

187.4 ( 0.2 lbs lost) this morning. I'm surprised because this week was crammed full of celebration and eating with family staying here, our wedding anniversary, lots of meals out, and exactly one exercise session. Yikes- back to real life today, though. I'm committing to walking at least 30 minutes for 6 days this week (and eating a lot less carbs and sweets, with more protein)!

205.7 this morning. Was hoping for another 3 lb loss but grateful for 1.3.  I only got 3 days of walking in last week. I really need to commit to a daily workout to get things rolling.

I also didn't drink as much water this past week so there's another I need to work on.

Milk - Glad your kidneys are good!  I agree that you probably didn't gain 3 kilos.  That would be like a pound a day!

AFM - 170 this morning.  I'm grateful I lost anything, because even though I was walking pretty religiously, I also ate a lot of junk.  I got Starbucks 3 times due to lack of sleep, and each time I got larges!  Oh willpower, where art thou? irked.gif

250.0 That's a little over 1lb loss. Not record breaking, but if I keep going at this rate, I'll be back into some of my nicer clothes by Christmas.

Ya...my willpower wasn't great this week. With my family's support, I'm doing really well at keeping the house cleared of foods I shouldn't eat. I'm a sucker for eating out though. My husband has to leave for work about 4:30pm 6 days a week, and is really involved with the kids' activities in the afternoons when he's awake. Slipping out somewhere local for an hour together to have lunch has become our way to connect during the week. We're cutting back on that some, but unless we find another activity that really works for us to connect that habit isn't going anywhere. We are making a point to choose healthier locations, and I'm doing pretty well with choosing smaller and healthier items.

139.

I am turning over a new leaf today... it's been so hot I've neglected cardio almost completely in favor of lifting and the weight is just not moving any more. I walked one mile this morning, then ran one mile, then did elliptical for one mile. Also pulled dd2 in the wagon all over the neighborhood.

203.2 this morning. Blah. Now that the weather isn't as hot, I don't have to be stuck at home as much so I'm hoping to get in some more walks. In fact, think I'll go now smile.gif

213.8   Finally scale moving in the right direction. smile.gif
