146.2 this morning. just looking at my stats from last week; that's three pounds in a week (maybe more) if i can keep it up till monday morning.
i'm back to not eating after 5 pm.
i can have what i want (even a small treat) early in the day, but am doing i guess what is called "intermittent fasting" after 5 pm. it works.
i just read some scientific evidence that correlates with the success of this "diet" approach. it has to do with burning fat instead of burning sugar.
if you quit eating (and don't eat ANYTHING, not even a small piece of fruit) by a certain hour, your body will metabolize what you've eaten, and then have no more sugar to "run on". while you sleep, during those hours, your body will burn off its fat to keep going. because there is no sugar in your body, it got used up by like 10-11 pm.
i feel hungry at night. but i know that's good hunger, as i am still trying to lose.
