I'm continuing to see (slow) movement on the scale this week in the right direction.  Re-invigorated to work on the diet side of things.

OK, I have FINALLY gotten our chart for the week.  I do not have our mid-way team standings as promised at the beginning of the challenge.  Doing all of this at the library in 10 minute segments was not my original plan . . . so I will be getting that posted ASAP.  I promise this is not my normal mode of operation!!  My computer is expected back a week from tomarrow. 

 

And another note on library usage - our library is closed on monday for labor day, so next week I will be here and posting on tuesday!

Same here! BFM you rawk! It is SO nice to see a chart. Who is winning so far? Red or Blue? I decided to calculate...

 

Blue total is: 23.84

Red total is: 48.28

I'm still going slow and steady, and again a little surprised that I managed to lose anything this week. I fit into my too tight jeans again though. When I bought them, they were baggy jeans for hiking on hot days when I needed coverage but didn't want really want anything touching my sweaty skin. I was very disheartened to be able to wear something that big! That was 2 years ago, and now I'm excited to be back into them! I only have 3 pair of daily wear pants. The other 2 are loose on me now. I haven't even lost 10 lbs yet, but I have been just a little too big to wear these pants comfortably for the last year or so. I've told myself that at 145, I get another pair. I'm aiming for new pants next week. =D

 

Don't worry too much about it, Valid. We all lose our resolve...most of us, regularly. lol Just keep doing better "from this point on" when it happens and eventually you'll be doing better more often than you're losing resolve! =D

I've been able to do a bit more cardio a few days when the gym is cooler. It's been so freaking hot here, and the air is so smoky from all the forest fires it's hard to be outside at all... we're doing rain dances daily.

I was worried about being on vacation, but we cooked at our cabin a lot instead of eating out.  I also hiked and kayaked and carried around my 40+ lb 3 year old, so I must have burned off the ice cream I ate every night, and then some...
