244.2 for me.  Time at inlaws seemed to go okay.  Onto a new week of exercise and good eating.

136.4 for me again this week. Sorry for not posting yesterday. I've been camping all weekend and did my best to relax. The Florida humidity is kickin'  :) So not much exercise. Just tried to stay as cool as possible.

201.5. love.gif I was hoping to break the 200 mark before I finish the 8 weeks so this feels good. :)

164 today. Yippee! joy.gifI had promised myself a spa day when I reached 165, but when it came to it, the practical vulcan trekkie.gif in me just wouldn't allow such frivolity, haha. So, I decided to spend that money on new workout DVDs instead. TurboFire, here I come!

UGH.

219.6

Holiday weekends mean crap food and zero workouts. My DH sweetly suprised me with a visit from my sister (she's about 4 hours away) but sadly, that meant going out to eat, having drinks. Workouts? Yeah right! oops.gif

Atleast I didn't gain too much. This next week is CRUNCH TIME. I wanted to lose around 8lbs min. this challenge and that's not happening, is it?

Today I'm going to:

Not eat too much. Stop when full! Eat NO sugar or dairy. (oops, had some butter, making ghee now) To kick start the work out, I'm going to go for a jog. Not a walk, a JOG. I'm waiting on a shipment to come in with adjustable barbells, stretch cords and a kettlebell which I hear is a GREAT workout. So it's just cardio until then...

You go!  Kettlebell is an AWESOME workout!  Love it.  Gets you both cardio and strength training at one go.  thumb.gif

Sorry for my delayed weigh in!  I'm stuck on 164.3, no loss this week.

I'm on doctors orders to avoid exercise at the moment, so I will be working hard on eating really well.  Which may or may not be easy considering we have family and friends converging on us this weekend for DP's massive 30th birthday party!  Wish me luck!  I'll try to stay away from the cake...

I had my 1 1/2 hour of hockey and power skating classes last night. These are intense classes,in full gear, with only a few quick water breaks.

My trouble is about an hour after classes I'm starving. Ended up eating a cheese quesadilla and a veggie burito. I need some help with some alternates because that's a lot of calories at 9pm. League play starts on Friday nights in a few weeks and I know I'll have the same problem. Any suggestions?   I am a vegetarian.

Yes, so I've read. I'm a total noob, can you enlighten me on where to start? Is there a workout you do or know of a website with a few to choose from?

Keep on keeping on ladies! It looks like a lot of us are staying the same. That's because of the darned holiday... Did some strength training and a long bike ride with DD today. So tired now. Being hypothyroid sucks!

I'm a little spoiled - the local Y has kettlebell classes that fit my schedule.  Is there anyplace near you that you could take a sample class and go from there?  I'm pretty big on learning proper technique first and the best way to do that is to have someone who knows what they are doing there to help you. Will try to get you some video recommendations this weekend. :)
