*Just* did my first canning ever this past week. I'm thrilled (it was this peach lavender jam with extra tips from other more thorough peach jam recipes). And really excited about trying to get around to more soon. I'll probably do a basic strawberry sometime, or maybe strawberry-vanilla. Probably less fiddly than the peach (with the peeling & all - almost didn't make it through the whole process so easily since the kids movie ended with 20 minutes of work left to go, or so).
I know there are a bunch of regular canners around here, so I'd love to hear about your favorites. Or what you've been up to yourself.
