DS is 6 months old and I have just recently discovered flats and wool covers. I totally disregarded these as being too hard and have a complete stash of GMD prefolds and various PUL covers. Boy, I'm so disappointed. I absolutely LOVE the simplicity of a flat and a simple wool cover or soaker. Flats are much easier to size right than the prefolds, too. They always fit so awkwardly when he is in between sizes. Just thought I'd throw that out, because I wish I had looked into it more. DH says to live with it for now and I can buy more flats and wool covers for the next babe...seems like a good idea!

Sponsored Linkspost #2 of 47/14/12 at 7:42pmI LOVE flats too. I pad fold them (find prefolds too bulky for that), stuff them into cheap cotton training pants or even underwear and they are an easy pull on option for my squirmy, fleeing diaper changes 15 month old DD. We EC so most poop is on the potty and I Love this system for pee. I only do this around the house since she is a heavy wetter and needs a good fitted or pocket when we are out but it works great when I can change her right away. I also love wool and will throw it on this combo or a fitted. I absolutely plan on using more wool and flats with any future LO and plan on CD from a very young age (only switched at 12 months with DD). Totally feeling the love for flats and wool :-))post #3 of 47/14/12 at 7:51pm- MrsWhite

Loooove flats for my super chunky baby. I can barely snappi a premium sz prefold on him. And he wears wool 24/7 so great for lazy people like me - pants and a cover in one!

Quote:Awesome ideas...thanks!
Quote:DS spends most of the day in a wool soaker and a t-shirt. Totally the easiest set up! I basically rotate between 3 wool covers at home and don't even touch all my PUL covers. Wish I had known before I wasted the cash on all of them!
