Dreams « Back to Group Discussions

Anyone having more/more intense dreams than usual? I've had two so far that have stuck with me.

In one I dreamt I was pregnant with twins. I had them just fine and all, but somehow they multiplied into quads. 

The other was about DH's grandma, and is definitely more *graphic*. We haven't told her we're pregnant yet, so I'm thinking this stems from some anxiety surrounding that. She told me she wanted to see the baby, and I assumed that meant she wanted to see me, so we made the trip to her house (about 2 hours away). When we got there, she tackled me and literally cut the baby out of me so she could play with him/her. Then she put him/her back in my stomach and sewed me up. Ugh it was horrible.

YES! the dreams!  I have also been dreaming about twins!  

Last night, I had dream after dream about zombies!   ACK!  it was crazy.  There were swarms of them and I had to protect my kids.  It was BIZARRE.  I could hardly sleep.  Every time I woke up, I'd try to clear my mind and dream about something more pleasant and it would always go back to zombies.  Bizarre.  haha.  But it was so realistic.  I hardly ever have dreams when I'm not pregnant.

oh the dreams.  My preggo dreams are always sex dreams.  Hot coworkers, New Kids on the Block, etc.  Last night was Morgan Freeman.

My pregnancy dreams are always pretty steamy, too!  lol.  Sexy men in uniform, Richard Gere, random strangers on the street!  lol.

Yes, weird dreams... last night I dreamed that my *neutered* cat, Max (he is a Bengal with exotic-looking markings) fathered a kitten. And I got the kitten by repeatedly opening a vending machine slot of some sort, and then about the 6th time, it was there! The cat looked really weird, with open gold rings on it (like Olympic rings) and floppy ears like a dog... I told dh about it and he said I was having crazy pregnant dreams already, which I actually did not make that connection until a few minutes ago. (Oh, and I'm really, really "spacey" lately... having "oh yeah!" moments hours after a conversation or encounter... anyone else? Feel like I'm in a daze half the time...)

Ok, everyone else has ummm interesting dreams, and I dream about getting a kitten out of a vending machine. Just my luck, lol!

Hahaha!!! I bursted out laughing when I read your post! Morgan Freeman is not on my list of sexy Hollywood stars either! Next time go to sleep with Tatum Channing on your mind, then you'll have a fabulous dream, lol!

I am soooo spacey! I went to the grocery store the other day to get everything I needed to make chicken fettuccine Alfredo... Came all the way back home to realize I forgot the dang CHICKEN! How do you forget one of the main ingredients? Duh! I also have seemed to forgotten how to spell everything and I am repeating myself to the kids... My 12 yr old said to me the other day, "yeah. mom. you already told me that. Twice." I was like, oh! I did?

Yes! Last night I dreamed I gave Elvis Presley a ride back to his venue. He kissed me, and I was like, "Oh, god, please don't stop, Elvis!" We made out all  the way back to his destination. Apparently my car could drive itself. Then he stepped through the front door of the theatre and it turned into a modern day Chinese restaurant. Then I cried in my dream because I was disappointed that we didn't go all the way. WTF???? I think this dream has something to do with dh being out of town for a week and one of the kids in the play I'm directing is playing Elvis, so we've been listening to a lot of his music lately.

when we were in NYC this weekend, we went to Canal St and bought pirated movies off the street.  I nearly attacked the poor chinese woman when she opened her bag and I saw Magic Mike.  Cannot wait for that night's dream!!!

I think Magic Mike will most definitely give you good dreams! Hmmm, I think I just may have to watch that!

Ditto here on the daze-y feeling and spacing out! I feel like that is how I walk around all day long. I've always been a crazy dreamer, but I have noticed that they are amping up a little bit lately. I can't remember anything right now (again with the airheadiness) but if they are this weird already I am nervous to see what happens later on...
