Last night I was woken out of a deep sleep by strong cramping (felt like bad menstrual cramps). They were even radiating down my legs at times. Thankfully, there was no bleeding or anything. I haven't had any cramping since 14 weeks. I was really scared, but managed to go back to sleep. I did call my mw this morning and she wants me to have an ultrasound tomorrow to rule out any "placental issues". The cramping is less this morning, but it's still there and I just feel sore. Has anyone else had this? I still feel quite nervous.
sudden strong cramping
I had my ultrasound today and everything looks completely fine- no dilation and the placenta looks great. She couldn't even see any contractions on the screen, but I feel like I've been having a lot of BH this weekend.
I think I have a mild stomach bug- I've been to the bathroom more times than I can count over this weekend and having waves of nausea too. I wonder if intestinal cramps can trigger uterine cramps? Oh and DH has been nauseous today, so that makes me feel better (only b/c it confirms stomach bug).
I think that baby just went through a growth spurt at the same time and I'm feeling some stretching/soreness from ligaments. Suddenly her movements are very strong and I can feel her throughout the day and I wasn't before. It was such a huge relief!
