I practised EC with DS1 when he turned 6 months. When DS2 was born (he's now 3 weeks, 5 days) I knew I wanted to start as soon as we could. The first couple weeks any attempts at a catch were laughable so I just stuck to cuing when I noticed he was eliminating. Then at 3 weeks 3 days I started picking up on his "signals" (well...just one at the moment and only when he's physically with me...which is pretty much always). It seems that if he's fussy and the boob won't do, he has to go!
We've been on a roll and I'm loving it. We're having about 6 catches a day...and poops more so than pees, but usually they happen together in these early days.
So, yay, EC!!!
