Limited Vaccine Protocols?

Just wondering if there are any "official" protocols/schedules for those who are delaying/limiting vaccines for their kids like there are in dogs?

When I started a limited vaccine protocol for my dogs I just had to go to the AVMA page and they had a whole document with lists of core and non core vaccines and their recommended schedule that honored the new research findings (about the length of protection various vaccines offered). I've not done much research on the specifics of limited vaccine protocols for children, so I'm wondering if anything like this actually exists for *people*.

There is no "official" limited vaccine schedule for people. The CDC and the ACIP claim they are all extremely important. eyesroll.gif But the CDC does have a "catch-up" schedule, which shows the minimum intervals between each vaccine dose. http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/schedules/downloads/child/catchup-schedule-pr.pdf

*sigh* Seems a bit ridiculous that it's easier to find a well researched and supported protocol for limited vaccines in dogs than one for children. duh.gif

I'm not surprised at all, though. I've read that veterinarians are much more likely to acknowledge the risks of vaccines in animals.
