This morning I was running around without a bra, and looked down and had two wet circles on my shirt. I was shocked, thought surely I was randomly sweating in round circles there or something. But I investigated a bit and sure enough, I can already produce a bit of something... wouldn't say it even looks like colostrum, just a very thin clear yellowish looking fluid.
I'm very surprised by this, though I guess I shouldn't be b/c I've had extremely sore breasts/lots of changes since about 3 weeks. (Not every day or constantly, but consistently.) I have about 7 years of combined breastfeeding experience (from starting to nurse my oldest to tandem nursing to weaning my youngest) between my girls, and my youngest finally completely weaned about a year or a bit more ago. I'm wondering if perhaps this plays a role? Isn't it a bit early to start leaking? It's a tad annoying b/c I love not wearing a bra, helps with soreness, but I don't want to go around leaking of course.
Maybe it will be a passing thing? I guess my body is really excited to breastfeed again! :)
