So excited for my friend and her own style of homeschooling

I posted a while back about my friend who was asking me about homeschooling.  I got great replies from many of you, with very helpful references and links, that I have been "gently forwarding" - she has been going through the mails - I am trying not to overwhelm her with too much info.  There was the Unschooling Summit last month too which was like an embarrassment of riches at the time.  I am so thrilled for her, I just found out that she came up with her own homeschooling style - i just love the schedule!  1 hour for subject-work and then 1.5 hours for snack!!  And outings, etc.  She even has a website - http://cpillars.wix.com/cpillars

I am giggling with delight.  Just wanted to share here.  It is almost as much fun as seeing your child try something new :-)

Oh!  See it is her own summer camp that she is doing with her kid.  I think a few others might also be joining on some days, but she set it up for her kid. 

I find this esp amusing because me and my dd pretend we are in a camp too.  We have imaginary campers with us.....
