I'm responding to old posts/quiries re: HERMIT CRABS & the ??as pets, in particular... Please be aware that attempting to harbor these as pets is quite inappropriate, as they require SALT WATER to live.. Check out Holling Clancy Holling's PAGOO storybook= awesomely entertaining and great teaching tool for us all ;) So, please consider short-term observation while still at the beach!
