Vaccine exemption Chicago public schools

Thread Starter

Hello

My son is entering Kindergarten in the fall.  He was at the same Chicago public school for 2 years of Pre-K.   When he entered Pre-K he was fully vaxed til that point (before I became enlightened).   I dont want to get the kindergarten shots.  Im freaking out a bit since he was vaxed until now and it will look odd that I am claiming a religious exemption now.  Does anyone have any advice or experieince with this?  I have read other threads on these boards that have been very helpful but any advice about writing the letter or your exepience with CPS would be most helpful.

Thank you!

Here is Illinois law regarding vaccine exemptions.

Religious beliefs can change at any time. There is nothing odd about this, and you shouldn't worry.
