Anyone do 3D/4D sono for third trimester? *pics « Back to Group Discussions

I did a 4D at 28 weeks. I have never had a sono late in pregnancy. I get extra ones around 16 weeks or so to find out the sex but never thought about getting one after that. But this time I was having a horrible time connecting with my LO. I just didn't feel all that pregnant. And my anterior placenta meant I wasn't really feeling much movement either. So I decided to do a sono and actually see her.

Most amazing experience ever.  I have 4 other children so I don't get too much new experiences in pregnancy anymore. I found out that she is a spitting image of DD2. It was absolutely amazing to see. I also found out she has a lot of hair already, yes hair at 28 weeks!!!! Which is good news because of my 4 children 2 were born with a ton of hair, 1 was born with a little hair, and 1 was born with no hair at all. Also found out she is already head down and she sleeps like her daddy.

This is one of my very favorites. Christabelle is giving that adorable little grimace all babies give when they first wake up. I just love that face.

The arrows are pointing to those white pointy things which are the hair on the back of her head.

I did a 4D at 28 weeks also and then spent 20 minutes doing exercises to get baby out of my placenta and the arm and feet down that she had in front of her face. We got one shot of her face in the last few seconds. It was still a great experience, I just wished the bag of M&Ms had done it's job with the baby.
