Naptime Solutions For Infant At Babysitter's

Thread Starter

My baby will start going to the babysitter's at 3 months of age (3-5 hours will be spent at the babysitter's house and the other half will be spent at my house with the babysitter).  At my house I will have our mattress on the floor for the baby to sleep on.

However, I'm looking for a naptime solution for the baby to sleep on at the babysitter's as my children are the only children at this older babysitter's house, so I provide the toys, etc.  I want an inexpensive naptime solution for my infant as it will only be a couple hours each day.  Plus DS1 refused to sleep on anything other than our bed and in the sling.  Some things I've thought of are a child's portable cot, a crib mattress on the floor, a pack n' play mattress on the floor.

What suggestions do you have for what to get for the baby to take naps on?

Thank You,
Carolyn

I guess I am more inclined to put my babies in something they can't get out of-- and that they are protected in (like a pack in play) for naps when i am not near them. But i am a worry wart.... :/

My mother-in-law used to put my kids on a spare bed with a child bed rail on one side. It made me nervous, but it worked great!

I have always been able to get baby gear used- do you have that option where you live??
