Music lessons for both or one?

My son (4) is showing a strong leaning towards instruments, and specifically the dulcimer. I want him to start lessons but I'm feeling like I SHOULD put my daughter (almost 6) in lessons as well. She's artistic with her drawing and loves to sing and dance (in dance classes) but hasn't shown a lot of interest in instruments. Any opinions? Idk why I'm struggling with this decision but I am!

She should get some sort of class she likes, as well, but it could be voice lessons or art lessons instead.  And just FYI, both of my kids were about 8 when they started instruments. So your dd may like an instrument at a later age.

She dances 3 hours a week at a local studio and is on the swim team. My son does gymnastics and plays soccer...I think I'll get her into an art class...she's so artistic but doesn't seem drawn to instruments (YET!). Thanks for your rePly - I don't know why this feels like such a big decision!
