Asheville Hugs!!!

Hi! I went there this week and had an amazing time! I love the people! It is a very unique place! You really have to have open and high energies there! I loved it! We are looking to relocate (or at least buy a house) and this really helped us. We are looking for a larger holistic deeper homeschooling group and the people in total are so much fun to be around! I would love to drive down to any playgroups or potlucks you all are hosting in the future. Loved it! Hugs, Leslie

Hi Leslie, I am glad to hear you like this place. We do too and are relatively recent transplants, having got here in April. 

 

We are homeschoolers too... I have been thinking to tap in and connect with the homeschoolers in the area too. Would love to meet some moms and my son would like to meet some kids. If I find out anything, I will let you know!

THank you Stacy! Your other posts really helped me take the drive down before hand :D. 

 

Do you know if the Asheville Unschoolers are strict? More towards radical? I can't say that I am.. we are very much child-led and into providing, inviting, and promoting classes in the arts, nature, and sciences. :D

Well, we have a taste of EVERYTHING here.   :)
I would assume that there are some radical families, some strict families and some that are much more focused on child-led learning and development. You just have to find your tribe...fun!
