Changing my baby's name?

My squishy baby is 3 months old now and her name hasn't fit since birth. Her first name is Tessa. I want to keep her middle name and change her first name. 

Am I crazy? The name we want to change it to fits her SO perfectly in my mind. Her personality and her face just fit with the 'new' name. It was actually a name we considered but I decided not to use it because it is more popular than Tessa. 

I am thinking of using her new name for a month and see how it sits with me. If we love it then I will file the paperwork. 

Honest opinions please?

I don't see why not.  Nobody will know or remember after a couple of years.  And I'd hate to be stuck with a name that doesn't feel right.

We have been using it for a couple of hours now and it really does fit her better. Plus it makes me smile when I say it! :-)

i say totally go for it, i changed my girls middle name beasue the first one was kinda just picked because it was a runner up first name but it didn't flow, so even though i love the name it was not right for her and fher full name. I'm so happy i did!
