When I hit the button on my toolbar that is the letter "A" with colors around it it just puts the word "color" in code around the text and then always posts it in pink. I want to be able to post in pink, green and blue because Im hosting a thread that lists people's edd's and the sex of their babies. How do i do this?

I wrote the words then highlighted them and clicked on the font color menu and made my selection. Is that how you're doing it?
When I write the words and highlight them no color selection box comes up. Instead, it automatically puts the words color on both ends of my sentence with brackets.
It looks like this (kind of. If I do it actually it will just disappear.)
{Color=ff00aa} trying to type in color {/Color}
Only the brackets are like this [ , not like this { . And the the letters are all capitalized.post #5 of 117/25/12 at 4:30pm- Cynthia Mosher

Are you using the BB Code Editor? If so switch to the Rich Text Editor and then try posting in color.
Ok, and how do I do that?
I went to Account settings and it lets me choose "default to Full Page Editor" but that is the only thing about editors that I can find.post #9 of 117/28/12 at 4:32pm- Cynthia Mosher
