Hi all,

I've been following Mothering Magazine for many years now, but I just now decided to join as I'm pregnant with my third. For starters, I'm looking for a home birth midwife in the Triangle area of NC -- since we just relocated here from Washington, DC. My last little guy was a home birth and I'd love to have another one, but there's all sorts of happenings with home birth midwives in the area -- it's becoming harder for midwives to deliver babies at home because they (the midwife) need a supervising physician.

Would love to hear anyone's thoughts if you live in the area, or if you might be able to recommend someone.

Welcome to MDC!  I lived in Raleigh for 5 years, loved it there!

I see you started a thread in the Tribal Areas, I hope someone there has some midwife recommendations for you!
