I slept all night on my tummy apparently last night. I woke up wide awake at 7am with pain in my uterus area. I went to the bathroom and felt a little better. I was scared of the pain. I didn't expect pain this early along (9weeks) with stomach sleeping. I laid on my left side for a good 30 minutes to monitor if it was worse or better. It's better, but I'm at work now and it's still uncomfortable in my uterus area. It has had some round ligament type stretching discomfort the past few days, and this is similar but more achy. I'm not spotting or bleeding or any worse pain than discomfort.
Is this just a lesson to not sleep on my tummy from this point forward? I thought I was much further along than this in prior pregnancies before it was uncomfortable.
I found a maternity pillow on Craigslist today for cheap. I'm picking it up after work and hope it helps me not sleep on my stomach again.
