SO EXCITED! Last Summer Games, I was up late nursing a newborn, and now I will be DVR-ing the cool events and watching them the next morning with the same little guy.  My kid is a fish, so I am hoping he likes to watch and is inspired by the men's swimming events.  I love nearly everything besides table tennis and air pistols, but diving may be my favorite.

I'm not huge into the Olympics, but I'm curious about Nur Suryani, the most pregnant person to ever compete in the Olympics.

I like the equestrian events too. I was such a sucker for gymnastics when I was little.. I am excited for the men's swimming as well, did you see the Morgan Freeman/Michael Phelps commercial? Soo good.

Yes!  My oldest was also a brand new baby during the last summer games (born 8/5/08) and our first memories as a family was staying up late watching the Olympics while nursing/snuggling a new baby!  My now 4 y.o is so excited about the "big race!" and is always talking about how he wants to be the "fastest" at everything.  He is always telling me "Mom, that was easy, it only took two times to practice!" and things like that when he does silly poses or flips or anything.  I think he is going to love the Olympics.  He is totally going to be an athlete when he grows up (he is very tall and muscular and well coordinated for his age) which kind of freaks me out since I am NOT athletic at all.  haha.  But I'm excited that he is excited for the Olympics!
