Hello there!

I live in the Duluth, MN area. I don't know of any Latin masses, but our priest over in Superior, WI (five minutes from Duluth) is very well-liked, energetic and passionate. I will be sending my kids to Cathedral school when they are old enough, but I have a very large family and several of my relatives homeschool. There are local groups who meet at the Barnes and Noble in Duluth (and probably other places) to have playdates and organizational meetings. I really love my home parish in Superior. We have tons of events. For example, there was an NFP tutorial for NFP awareness week, a weeklong day retreat for kids this summer, and tons of events throughout the year. We have Theology on Tap, Teens Only Nights, and we have a churhc and a school team in the Dragon Boat Festival every summer. We even have a Polka mass with a dance afterwards. The church is busy and has a lot of young families. There are Farmer's Markets in both Duluth and Superior, running mostly during the summer and into early fall. I have only been to one once, but the produce was high quality. It sells out fast, so you have to get there early!

I see that the original post on this was quite a while ago but I'll add what I know for other curious lookers.  We moved to this area (Baraboo, WI) about 6 months ago, so I am not totally in the know.  Home education is common in this part of Wisconsin. In Madison there is a large Catholic homeschool co-op; Holy Family Homeschoolers. They even have a very organized, helpful  website. There are smaller pockets of Catholic homeschoolers around this area of Wisconsin as well.

There is a Latin mass in Sauk City.  

I have found the community at the parish here in Baraboo to be active. Much more than where we moved from (Washington).

I enjoyed the Farmer's Market in Baraboo this summer and I know they have a nice on in Madison as well.

I live in the Midway neighborhood in Saint Paul, Minnesota. There is a very orthodox parish about 10 minutes from my house that has a Latin mass every Sunday and weekdays too I believe - Saint Agnes. http://www.stagnes.net/index.html

I go to the Cathedral of St. Paul for Mass because my rest of my family attends there, and they have a pretty active community and lots of cool things that go on throughout the year: the Parish Festival, Saint Patrick's Pancake breakfast, Young Adults group Valentine's Day dance, Moms group All Saints Day party,etc...plus there are various groups for families and individuals. I also always see tons of moms/dad with their kids every Sunday.

Not 100% sure about homeschoolers in the area, but I found this helpful website that lists some homeschool groups in MN http://www.home-school.com/groups/MN.html

Also...There are TONS of farmers markets in the city, and there is an International Market fairly close to the Midway neighborhood that has not only veggies and fruits, but all sorts of things: clothes, shoes, food vendors of all kinds, etc. It's pretty awesome.

We moved to WI two years ago and have many Catholic HSing friends and attend Latin Mass in Wausau. In our area farmer's markets are small, but we drive to bigger ones.
