Clarksville, Tn---Just looking for info

Hey ladies.
The husband and I are currently TTC. I'm an obsessive planner (to a fault, sometimes) and I'm looking for some info about options in Clarksville.
We are a military family and have Tricare insurance. Currently, I have a civilian OB who has hospital priveledges at Gateway.
I read a few threads on here that mentioned Gateway not being so great... Could anyone give me some specifics? What was your negtive experience?
Also, anyone else with Tricare... Do I have the option of going to Nashville at all? Or am I limited to Gateway or post with Tricare Prime?

I don't have any experience with Gateway as far as having a baby but I did stay there for a few days years ago and wasn't exactly happy with my care.  I've been told that the hospital isn't exactly mother/baby friendly either. 

 

If you have Tricare standard, you can be seen off post.  I used the Vanderbilt Midwives in Nashville.  It was a bit of a hike from Clarksville, but totally worth it.

 

There is a great page on Facebook called Clarksville Birth Community (I think.)  The ladies on the page can give better specifics about the care at Gateway as well as other options.
