Sleeping queen- I'd LOVE one!!!

have you looked at the website? www.bodyforlife.com

They have downloable forms for recordkeeping. There is another great site that has BFL support! www.hussman.org

Thistle, do you want to continue this through pm's. I've been to the site and looked at some of the success stories and the recipes. I just turned 41 this week and I'm as eager to lift as when I was 20!

My husband and I lift weights together, and recently rejoined the gym in order to begin our slow burn routine. I love this method of weight-training, and will never exercise the same way again.

Great to hear your recommendation. Do you feel like your muscles recover enough when you do the third work out of the week?

I think you're talking to me, so I'll respond. Excuse me if I'm wrong, hehe.

We don't lift more than twice/week. We typically rest for 4 days, and lift on the 5th... this has worked well for us thus far, and we are making gains each time we go. I think a 3rd workout would be too much for us. As we get more efficient at working to failure, we'll need even more rest between lifting days. I think it's an individual thing, so 3 days may work well for some and not others. It really is a wonderful method... my muscles have never felt this worked before, and I'm seeing amazing results. I also love not having to live in the gym...

As do I! How are you doing with the BFL?

I have day one down. I love to lift, but this eating thing is my downfall. With BFL I have a hard time getting the six small protien meals in.

What is a slow burn routine?

Yes, what is a slow burn routine?

I'm lifting 4x's a week, in my basement, so I don't feel like I'm stuck in the gym. I really enjoy lifting, but am always looking for ways to change up my routine.
