Mosquito Repellent For Kids

What's your favorite natural mosquito repellent that REALLY REALLY works?  We have confirmed West Nile Virus in our area so I want to protect my kids, but I also don't want to put nasty chemicals on them.

the doterra Terrashield works really well for us.

It is a pain to apply though. I wish they'd make it so it makes for easier application.
