Baby names begining in Z, X, and V? HELP! « Back to Group Discussions

Hey Mamas, does anyone have any suggestions for names for the twins starting in Z, X, or V?  DS's middle name starts with a Z, and I really like those sounds, but it's hard to find names begining with those letters or containing those sounds. So far we have :

Hmm...a bit different but there is Zora, Zahra, Zabrina, Zehira, Xalina, Xena, Violet, and Vala for girls.  For boys there's Zacharia, Xavier, Xander, Viggo, and Valen.  They seem to be love em' or hate em' type names.  Choosing a name is something we ALWAYS struggle with!!  Good luck!

Xochitl is a girls name I love and we would call her Xoe (pronounced like Zoey) . Zinnia is another of my fave girls names. Zahara is pretty, too. I used to care for a little girl named Zoila. I like Viola, too.

for names ending in X, see the Jolie-Pitt brood! Pax, Maddox, Knox (she also has girls named Zahara and Vivienne..) My DS is Phoenix and I also like Fox.

DS's middle name is Zen Fox :)

The woman who writes the Stand and Deliver blog has a daughter named Zari, and I think that's lovely.

I have a French student named Verene (Va - ren) and that's very nice as well

Zoe is one I love, but DH nixed it.

I love the z sound too.  DD1 is Azalea, and often goes by Zaley.  I've always liked Zephyr for a boy.  For a girl: Zinnia, Zara, Zoe, ...

My friends just had a boy and they named him Azariah(az-ri-ya) which is Hebrew for "whom the Lord helps". I guess using this one would depend on your belief system, but it was one that I didn't see mentioned so I thought I'd throw it out there.
