Oh, and I forgot to say that sometimes I need to eat more, too.  I hate eating this pregnancy - it doesn't feel good, it doesn't make me feel good - but it does make me not feel horrible, and sometimes those cramps/contractions are due to lack of calories in my body.

Mamabeakley - thanks for your thoughts. It's nice (?) to know someone else has experienced this. I certainly have thought maybe UTI, but I was tested only a 1.5 weeks ago, and don't have any burning and when I feel like I have to pee, I actually pee, there's something there. I think you're right, rest and more water and less stress (how to rid myself of stress...hmmm...). I am also looking at some changes in my diet to see if there's something that triggers this apparent bladder/uterine muscle co-irritation. With my cervix already short, even BH are a little worrisome.

But it's date night tonight, and I'm looking foward to going out for a bike ride and dinner (yay!) or a movie. We are having a family birthday party for our 2-year-old tomorrow, his present from us is a $1 shirt from the thrift store and a box filled with rice and small construction trucks like dump trucks. Cheap and hopefully very fun. There will be rice everywhere, I'm sure. I'm living up to the pregnant lady stereotype, mostly looking forward to the homemade pizza and cake :)

Happy weekend mamas!

chica - again with the tear-jerker video??? Seriously, keep 'em coming :) Congrats on the boy.

It seems like there is so much going on with all of us I can't keep up!

I think I've over-done it again; worked my butt off yesterday & again today. I'm getting that pregnant OCD thing, I cannot stand our house right now, nothing seems clean & I want it all done NOW. I at least got my bedroom & bathroom & most of the kitchen done. DP is being cranky, I'm sure it's because he knows I'm overdoing it & he gets worried.

Right now I just really want a donut....

ARGH, you just *had* to say donut, didn't you?! It has literally been over 2.5 YEARS since I've had a donut because of my food intolerances. That sounds soooo good!!

And I'm right there with you on the pre-nesting mild OCD stuff. Today I went to a used homeschool curriculum sale, then school supply shopping, then cleaned out the homeschool room. My back and knees are killing me, and my SPD is very angry. BUT--I got that stuff done, so the boys and I could arguably sit down and actually do lessons and activities...What a novel concept in a room we converted for JUST that purpose, huh? :P I did my bedroom and the boys' bedroom last weekend and need to tackle my own kitchen and bathroom this week sometime. Somewhere in there I also need to move around a bunch of books and bookshelves, to which I am NOT looking forward!

I hope everyone else is having a productive weekend. :)

Sorry about the donut comment - but don;t feel bad, I can;t have one either :) Although I do have a great recipe for gluten free cake donuts, they are just not the same as the nice yeasty white flour & sugar variety. But I made peach cobbler instead, with GF topping, and it was yum.

Way to go with all that work done!

Yes yes yes to having a productive weekend!!!

Yesterday DH and I attacked the house. We set up babes room, and the guest room, threw out old towels and sheets etc (kept some for the birth)

Went and brought new lamps, put electric blankets on the beds (not ours, i would fry!!) and generally moved around a LOT of furniture!!! Oh and we brought a basinette!! Soo sweet! And a change table/set of drawers

Then today its my birthday, so we went out for pancakes, then went to a local market, and now just being homey :)

Today I spent some of my "birthday money" on a big piece of canvas (8.2 feet/ 2.5 m) to paint and put on the babes wall :) so now am about to do that!!! Thinking of making a bit of an "outdoor" mural. A big tree, some bunnies, a sun, a squirrel and some crickets :)

It will take up most of one wall so I can't wait to do it all!!

All this being very active has left me with some nice RL pains that caught my breathe and required rocking my hips for a bit, so I think some quiet crafts and a lot of water plus a quiet night in is just what i need!!

Hope everyone is feeling as blessed as I am right now :) xxxxx
