I'm 32
I'm in New York City.

I work full time.
It took one month of actively trying (and 18 months of "not trying, not NOT trying") to get a BFP.
This is number two for our family.
I have DH who is a SAHD to our DS (2yo).

I have no insight yet on sex but I'd be happy with either.
Planning a homebirth.

For my son we planned a homebirth and got all the way to crowning before transferring in a big scary ambulance to a public hospital due to meconium + heart decels.  DS was born 45 minutes after we dialed 911 with the help of a vacuum.  I had some very traumatic postpartum symptoms that I am very anxious about avoiding this time-- hopefully no emergency transfers for us!!

BFP stands for Big Fat Positive ie: a positive home pregnancy test

EDD: April 30, 2013 but it might be May since I delivered DS at 42 3/7 weeks
My name is Robyn, I am 35 years old, married to DH for 3 years, and we live in Ann Arbor, MI
This is my 3rd pregnancy, we have a 2 year old boy born 7/2010 and then I had a m/c 2/2012.
My first labor was at the hospital and ended up being a long induction that ended up with lots of medical interventions which I was trying to avoid, so this one we are planning a homebirth.
I don't have any premonitions of whether this one is a boy or a girl, I am just praying for a healthy pregnancy.... I'm still kinda gun shy after the m/c.
We have been "actively" ttc since DS was 10 months old- it took 7 month to get our 2nd BFP then miscarried at 13 weeks, and now it's been 6 months of ttc for this BFP. DH and I would love to have 3-4 kiddos so this is such a blessing
I'm just SO excited, trying to contain it because I don't want to end up disappointed, but reading all of you girls' posts has had a calming effect.

• How long it took to you to get your BFP: first full cycle off of birth control! We are feeling so blessed and grateful.
• What number child is this for you: 3
• Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Husband, 2 sons, 2 dogs, a cat, a gecko, chickens and ducks. :)
• Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): No preference as of now - I think most people are hoping for a girl, as the grandkids on both sides are ALL boys!
• Birth Plans/Preferences: homebirth with a ND midwife

It's been a long time since I've done this - I need all the help I can get on what type of gear is the best, what's new in the cloth diapering world and what I'm supposed to wear when my regular clothes don't fit anymore!

• How long it took to you to get your BFP: well it came up + in about 7 seconds :) We had said we were trying, but neither of us thought we would get pregnant this quickly. Still nursing DD1 (17m), so we must have caught the first PP egg! Lucky us!

Hi April mums! My name is Erin, I'm from Canada, 30 years old, married and SAHM practicing AP. I'm pregnant with baby #2, EDD April 20, 2013, but still to be confirmed by a dating ultrasound as I had irregular cycles. Took a few months to get pregnant - fertility returned in January 2012 (still nursing DD1), actively started TTC in May, positive HPT August 19th. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
