Looking for midwife in Kingwood area

Hi

Can anyone recommend a good midwife in Kingwood area.

I am in my 21st week and am interested in getting one as soon as possible to help me.

Since I do not have insurance, I am looking for someone at the lower end of the price range.

I have contacted Chris Duffy, since she is closer to where I am. Curious to know if proximity is also a critical condition to decide.

We had an awesome water birth with Chris Duffy last November! We love her and her apprentices! It was fast as it was my 3rd and went straight into transition so birth pool Chris provided was the best! I recommend that as well! It is important to be comfortable with your provider, but keep in mind you will be driving to their office ALL the time towards the end. I don't know if Chris does, but some midwives charge if they have to drive very far to get to the birth.

The most important thing in birth I have found is to fear not and trust in God.
