I know that the starter series only came out a year ago, but wondering if there's anyone else that's going to use it from the start with no other math curriculum.
It seems to me that before last year, you kind of HAD to use something else to get to the point where LoF picked up (you had to know long division first). So it seems like most people got into a certain mode of "doing math" via that first curriculum and then couldn't manage to fully transition to LoF (which is profoundly different). I wonder if a lot of that is just having built up a comfort level with the first curriculum and being nervous to go with something so different--so they've used it as "enrichment" or side by side, but not a full, stand-alone curriculum.
But now that they've bridged the gap between "Just knows how to count/recognize numbers" and "must know long division", I'm trying to find other people who plan to use it on it's own.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
