MA OB receptive to working with birth center midwives?

I'm considering working with a freestanding birth center in NH, but I live in MA. Since I'm having a VBAC, I am required to go to one appointment with an OB. The midwives only work with OBs in NH (not covered by my insurance). I'm looking for an OB in MA (anywhere in eastern or central  mass) that would allow me to come for one appt and not be one of their patients. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know of any OBs that specifically work with birth center midwives. That said, I wouldn't plan to see a doctor (of any kind) long-term without seeing how the first appointment goes, so I think it's always fine to make an appointment an OB, go in, and then politely request your records and let them know that you are seeking care elsewhere (and elsewhere can be whatever you choose).

Wishing you a wonderful pregnancy and birth!
