I'm a dairy farming mama so as another mom wrote being a working mom (part-time in my case) can really make nursing a challenge. We made it for 22 months though! And honestly as Peggy O' Mara wrote I was ready to be done when I was, I was exhausted from it and Eli was starting to lift up my shirt, etc which just given my personality type I never felt entirely comfortable with. It worked for both of us to stop when we did. It took everything I had to nurse that long as farming is hard work and nursing is hard work. I wrote a post about it in honor of World Breastfeeding Week.
