Lol, the firecracker in me immediately said "Fine, then I'll pull it out myself." Sigh, I feel bad for my nurses. I’ll be a lousy and very testy patient. I just wish I wasn’t so afraid and already mentally preparing myself for a battle. I will meditate on this.
Thanks everyone else for all the replies and perspectives. I really appreciate it. I’ve been reading the CDC website for information as well as reading other threads on mothering that have been posted by this issue. I still haven’t come to any final decision. I’m hoping talking to my midwife and the nursing staff about all the various scenarios will clarify a few things for me.
