I have a 8 month old sweet baby boy. We co sleep and he still wakes up about 4-5 times a night to nurse - not snacking actually chowing down on both boobs. We do elimination communication so he usually also Will pee in the potty when he nurses. He half sleeps thru the process and so do I! My only concerns are these - he hardly eats solids, just not really interested, and I feel like he is hungry. I wake up exhausted dehydrated and feeling depleted. I am planning on going back to work on the night shift and worry that he won't get enough as he does not take a bottle well. I was hoping to have him night weaned by now. Also he will be getting teeth soon and i hoped to have him night weaned to prevent decay. No matter how much I nurse him all day he still seems to want/need lots of milk at night. I try making a smoothie with breast milk fruit coconut oil and rice cereal in it and giving it in a sippy cup all day but still he is hungry at night. Any suggestions? When are babies able to be night weaned?
