Michael is about to start kindergarten as well. I'm dreading/looking forward to the day. I can't believe how time has flown, I can't believe he won't be around for 7-8 hours a day. I hope he fits in. I hope he behaves. *sigh* Nine days. Nine days....

Becky, lol, I understand. Our kids are homeschooled and we always wondered if Ari would like school Osh would not). She did a camp this summer and hated it because, "No one listened to the teacher."

haha I wish I had the same problem as you do with Osh! I might actually be sane enough to homeschool!

I have always been a massively nostalgiac person, but man... tonight is taking the cake. We have several framed pictures of Sora around the TV that have become fixtures in the room that I don't notice much, and tonight I happened to walk by and really look at all of them fondly. I surprised myself and got all teary-eyed.  I guess I didn't realize until tonight just how much older Sora really does look now. It's scary how fast kids grow, both exciting and saddening. Why do kids do that?

Really, nobody here has gotten pregnant again yet? We had a HUGE November DDC group last year! I would've thought someone would be pregnant already.......... Come on, somebody fess up! LOL

Yep.

So in exciting news here, Austin learned how to ride his bike yesterday without training wheels!  He had been scooting around on our neighbor's balance bike for several weeks and then they let us borrow it when they went out of town.  He master that thing and then a couple days ago I took the training wheels off his bike just to see what would happen.  He's a bit short for it still so the bike has to tip a little for his feet to touch the ground, but with a little help he went gliding down the driveway and started to pedal!  He gave up pretty quickly b/c he fell over when he braked, but yesterday he was willing to try again and now he can totally ride his bike.  He can even get it started on his own if he's going down hill.  I'm totally amazed and he looks so funny and little on a 2 wheeler bike.  Balance bikes rock if the kid is willing to try!

Go Austin!  My ODD is 5...a very mature and advanced 5.  She is absolutely TERRIFIED to take the training wheels off her bike.  It gives her anxiety.  Its so silly.  She loves racing on go-carts, wants to bungee jump...afraid to ride a bike without training wheels. 

I am also really surprised there are no pregnant again moms here.  Its unusual.  But, like many other moms here, we are vasectomily done.  Yes, vasectomily.

Michael only learned to PEDAL with his bike a couple months ago. I wanted to take his training wheels off the other day, but was missing the tool for it.

I've actually been thinking about the pregnancy thing and also surprised that no one else is pregnant again. LOL And I like your new word.

Having two kids less than 18 months apart is pretty rare.    I'm not surprised that we haven't heard of anyone being pregnant again.

The woman who works at the place I go to get my oil changed is pregnant again. She has a baby around Jasper's age, and she looks to be 4-5 months pregnant. Does that satisfy anyone's need for a pregnancy?! Lol!

I was having baby fever till KJ started crawling and getting in to everything. Now I'm so grateful to have every ounce of energy I do to chase after her and keep her safe! This stage is so, so fun, but it is definitely more physically demanding. Oh, and we are back to waking a trillion times a night to nurse cause her teeth are bugging her

I agreed to get off BC next month after my DH's birthday. I was pregnant on his birthday last year, like, super pregnant, so I don't want that again.

But from October-December, we'll be NTNP. I'll be preventing January-May (No more holiday babies), then we'll actually start TTC come next May.

Happy? LOL I was really, really, really reluctant about it, because the thought of two really young kids scares the shit out of me, but DH told me about a guy at his work that has a 10-month old and his wife is 9 weeks pregnant, planned. He was sooo sad when he told me about it, so the above was my compromise. (I secretly hope it doesn't happen until we actually start TTC in May, but we all know I'll be happy regardless.)

There's my confession. While I have baby fever, Conner becoming mobile and more needy than he was as a newborn keeps me swallowing that little yellow pill every morning. LOL We also still have outstanding hospital bills (About $1700) that I'd REALLY like to have paid off before another baby pops into the picture.

I am surprised no one else is pregnant already though. Go us! LOL

When we started TTC for Oren, DD was only 12 months. I was SO NOT READY, but we were both SET on a two-year gap, for some reason. I am really glad we didn't end up conceiving for 9 months, and the 2.5 year spacing is actually really good. 

We're pretty sure we are done with 2. I have not gotten the hubs fixed yet, though, LOL. I kind of feel like there is another child out there. But we can't afford 3 right now, so this future child will have to wait until we have more money.

I'm pretty sure we are done now. I thought we'd have another if we could afford it, but now I'm seeing how much each kid divides up the attention we have to give the others... If that makes any sense! Lol. Splitting attention 4 ways is hard. With 5, I'm not sure I'd manage to even say hi to everyone each day.
