What do You love about being Pregnant?

Hi Ladies,

Please share what you love about being pregnant.

I love feeling the baby shoulder around inside me. (It hasn't hurt...yet) Little soft kicks and tumbles and rolls. The relationship of mother and child has really started. It is so amazing to me that I get to experience how life begins in another human (me). I have not met this baby yet but he is somewhere between a person and a part of me. The doc says he is viable now so he really is a human suspended inside my body. It trips me out and I love it.

I also love the round belly look that is coming now. I feel like a juicy (maybe too juicy) fruit tree. I am dressing up more and feeling really proud of my amazing body that has this capability with no help or guidance from my mind!

I would have to say the anticiption of getting to have another baby to love/nurse/sling.

I REALLY got to the point with DD that I was so over toddler nursing - especially when I would see little newborns nursing. It was so sweet! I am really looking forward to another nursling thriving on the milk made by my body - another thing from "my amazing body that has this capability with no help or guidance from my mind." Kewl.

And I didn't have a sling until DD was a month, and that was a Maya Wrap that I never really loved. This is my chance to sling him right from the start...

I love feeling the baby move around.

I love proudly showing off my belly, as opposed to always trying to hide my pooch when I'm not pregnant.

I love eating guilt free, and having dh go to the store to get it!

I love all the planning for a new baby.

I love sharing it with my ds!

I just feel so incrediby happy & blissed out about the whole experience. I feel so lucky & very blessed. This baby is so special... moving a lot, which I love. Sometimes I'll be talking to somebody & will feel a knock knock down by my pelvis & I mentally say, "Hello, baby." The other person has no idea.

I am feeling so feminine & sexy. I don't remember if I felt this with dd. ?? The other day I looked in the mirror & thought, "Is this me?" The hormones are definitely doing something great for me. I felt like my hair was prettier. My skin has drastically changed, too.

It's amazing. I love everything about it at this stage (27 wks tomorrow).

Life is good! I measured around my belly button today= 34 inches! I like the roundness...

I love the excitement & anticipation of a newborn most of all. It puts me in such a state of euphoria. I love babies!! esp. newborns! I love nursing & holding & carressing & rocking & carrying & all of that.

Yeah for babies!

I love the fact that it ends!

I love making complete strangers smile just by walking by!

I love people at working saying, "How's our little mama?" as they gently touch my belly and watching them smile. (I'm one of those weird ones who feels not at all violated by people I am not normally intimate with touching me... but I also offer to let people hold my babies when they are brand new... I like my babies to know they are loved by many!).

i love my new shape ~ big, round, soft, swollen... i feel so fertile and *goddessy*. it's such a sensual feeling. i'm normally very muscular, thin and bony... so this is a huge change. i love it.

i also love feeling the baby move, even though a lot of the time it hurts (because of the scar tissue i have in my abdomen, the whole region gets really sensitive)... i love feeling how active she is and listening to music with her.

the rest of it's not too fun... but when it gets really bad i just remind myself this is the last time i'll be experiencing this, so i try to cherish even the pain + discomfort...
