I'm in a meal-fixing rut. I need a new cookbook...something whole foods, with easy-to-fix, kid-friendly meals. Something that doesn't require wheat or dairy in virtually every recipe as everyone has problems with them. Does NOT have to be low fat or vegetarian.

Plenty by Ottonleghi was my favorite cookbook last year. It's all about vegetables, but my kids loved a lot of it. Have you tried some blog searches? www.glutenfreegirl.com is always popular.

I really love "Clean Food" by Terry Walters. All the recipes are vegan but you can modify them easily to fit your needs. I am thinking they are all GF as well but I can't remember. So far the recipes I have tried have been super yummy!
post #4 of 48/4/12 at 3:35pmLove the tips! I'm always struggling to find things the little ones will eat ... and we're gluten free, dairy free, corn free and avoid food allergens: nut, soy, egg and beef. I'm always looking for recipes that celebrate what we CAN eat!
