This is group is for people who live, or want to move to, the (north) east part of Washington state. Areas include: Spokane (city/co); Republic (Ferry Co); Omak (Okanogan Co); Colville (Stevens CO); Davenport (Lincoln Co), and nearby areas.

I am looking for fellow military veterans, RVers, families, forestry workers, college students, professionals, and any others who are interested in creating a self-sustaining, OTG, type community, which in turn, will offer a wide array of goods and services to give back to the surrounding communities.

I am especially interested in anyone who is familiar and able to build, work on vehicles, knows how to farm, gardening, handle animals, hunting/fishing, etc.

Welcome to Mothering! Is this going to be an intentional community that follows natural family living and attachment parenting ideals? I think that would be important for members of our community here at Mothering.

Yes, an "intentional/self sustaining" community. The goal is for making things run on solar, using concepts like tesla, etc, etc.

We are looking at a few properties in Republic (Ferry County), in particular. Lands are anywhere from 5 - 20 acres, all under $60k.

We also want to focus on things like natural/alternative care, natural/healthy eating, and overall of reducing our "environmental footprint."
