My due date was August 8th. I had been having preterm labor issues since week 33 and had been into L&D 4 times between weeks 33 and 38. The 5th time they kept me in. My labor was pretty uneventful, actually! I labored for 14 hours, with about 8 of those being hard labor. At 11:58pm I started pushing and at 12:08am my son was born. He was over 2 weeks early born on July 24th. He was 20.5 inches long and 7lbs 12.6oz APGAR of 8/9. Kinda makes me think my due date was off by about a week or so. I'd also been measuring 1-2 weeks ahead regularly and had GD. As soon as he was born I was taken off my GD meds and was told I no longer needed to test. So yay for that!
He's 2 weeks old today and eating like a champ. Big sister is a fantastic helper. Love my family.
