I'm typically on some rather nasty meds under the care of my neurologist but I am off of them during pregnancy and the migraines are kicking my butt. I wake up with one, it's there all day and I go to bed with it, it's really wearing me down. I know and avoid my food triggers, I've had migraines since I was a young girl so this is second nature. (I was gluten-free for many months and dairy-free for many years but this did not make a difference in the frequency or severity.) They've been bad during my other pregnancies, other than a ~10 week reprieve during my pregnancy with DD2, but never this bad before. My regular doc had me try a low dose of Zoloft but it caused rage issues so I discontinued it. I've tried propanolol in the past but my blood pressure is rather low to begin with and it made me black out whenever I would stand up, plus didn't help my migraines.
I'm taking a cal-mag supplement, I've tried skullcap tincture, I use cayenne to treat the really severe ones, I'm seeing my chiro today. I just wanted to see if there were any other suggestions that I may not be thinking of. Last ditch effort here!
