Options for "Ping-Pong" skull fracture caused by forcep birth

Hello-

I'm a new parent looking for real-world information regarding ping-pong skull fractures in infants. Our beautiful daughter is four days old and 100% healthy, however I want to know as much as possible about other people's experiences with treating/correcting similar injuries. Referrals to other online communities  or Southern CA doctors would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I'm sorry, I don't have any specific resources for you, but if it were me, I would be looking into craniosacral therapy for my child along with the medical treatment (if there is any to be done).

Welcome to MDC Lucas and congratulations on the birth of your daughter! I'm very sorry to hear about your daughter's injury. I don't know personally have experience with the type of injury that your daughter has, but I hope that other parents with experience will see this and share their experiences with you. Your post is welcome in this forum, but I did want to let you know discussions in this forum are usually about the trauma the mother or parents experienced so you might get more responses if you also posted to the Health and Healing or Life with a Babe forums. You could also post to the Dr. Bob Sears forum in Ask The Experts. If you are looking for local resources, your Tribal Area forum might be a helpful resource.

Wishing you and your family the best with your daughter's treatment.
