The anticipation of finding out the sex(es) - Page 2

Hurray Holly!  Healthy girls!  I always wanted 4 children.... it just sounds like the perfect number to me (although, DH said he is getting a vasectomy after this one is born.... I will have to settle for 3).

I am still going back and forth about finding out the gender.  It seems like everyone in my life is really pushing for a boy, and I don't want to have to explain all the time..... 'We are happy to be a family of 3 girls'..... I actually feel like I would be happy either way.

I don't know.

YAY for two healthy girls!!!!!!!   So glad to hear all is well!  I'm secretly hoping for another girl.  DH has his heart set on a boy but he's gonna be happy no matter what.  He's the stay at home and I caught him looking at baby wraps the other day.  He's trying to find a manly one as he plans on never putting this one down.  EVER!  And he keeps talking about squishy baby faces and how yummy they smell... should I be worried... he's not going to eat the baby is he?  HA!

Congratulations on your sweet girls!!!

Congrats on the girls!

I think part of the appeal of learning the sex early is to adjust accordingly if there is a little disappointment, then by the time baby (or babies, in your case) is born you have nothing but pure excitment

Signs are starting to point to girl for me and I'm really hoping they're right. I think I'll be a little disappointed if it's a boy, but I'll still be happy as long as he's healthy and happy.

I delivered in Markham with my DS, and the tech showed me and asked "what do you think it is?" and it was a very obvious boy, I hope to goodness the tech does the same in my little rural community hospital

I will be 20 weeks at mine, I knew my first was a boy, there are 4 generations of mothers (my mom, her mom, her mom's mom, etc) of 3 boys and a girl, but this time I think it's a girl, i didnt see anything hanging down at the 12 week ultrasound

twin girls is going to be so cute Adaline'sMama!

This is like waiting for new years, I am SO excieted partytime.gif

Now I'm getting myself hopeful that we might find out this time since we're going to a new u/s place.  My SIL wasn't able to find out either but I think she went to the same u/s place as me...  I'll know if we can find out on September 17!  Ultrasound is booked!

I'm in Toronto as well and I really want to find out at the appointment. I phoned the place my requisition is for (CML) and asked their policy on revealing sex, and they said the tech just prepares the report, but it takes a DOCTOR to be able to read the report (I know.) So then I called this place, and they said they will reveal sex at the ultrasound, and also that they accept requisitions for any ultrasound clinic! Aww yeah! So Sept 24th for me :)

I'm suuuuper anxious, just bc I have a big intuition, and want to know if I'm right. We were supposed to find out last week, Wednesday , but after midwife appt on Monday I rescheduled ultrasound to Tuesday. They messed up appt and I switched places and got an appt for Wednesday which they wouldn't let hubby back, and he complained and found out there was no policy that he couldn't go back. So the tech 'couldn't see' the sex. I couldn't even see the screen clearly. Sooooo, will find out Monday when I can find out gender. Annnnnticiiipationn! Lol
