seperation anxiety

my 5 year old she will be 6 next month started kindergarten last week all day at that,she has always been the type of kid that doesnt like to stay places!well she is having a very hard time at school crying non stop and will not do the class work cause she is so upset!i am wondering what should i do?should i keep her in full day or put her in half?or should i pull her out until she is 7(where i live its not mandetory to go to school till your 7!or should i try homeschooling?i am very troubled with this and at night time she wakes up crying over bad dreams of being away from me.....please help!

Well, personally, I would have a really hard time leaving her there as is if it's getting to the point of disrupting her sleep.  But that's me.  CAN you take her down to half-day?  Are you able to stay home to homeschool her?

Have you been able to talk to her at all about what exactly is bothering her about school?  Did she have any kind of "mom leaves me here" experiences before this?

Is she adopted?  How old was she when she was placed?  And is it already finalized?

Answers to these questions would help us to help you better.
