LATCH limits on 2002 Sentra?

Anyone? Can't find it in the manual. It's our babysitter's car, and I cannot get a secure belt installation on our Frontier in there. DD is 38 pounds, so if I can't use the LATCH, we're going to have to replace the seat. I also welcome thoughts on a tighter belt install. Thanks!

Hi Angela!  I'm sorry I don't have any info for you, but I am bumping this up for more attention.

You should be able to get a good install with the belt. Have you taken the car and seat to a CPST or a seat check to see if they can get it installed? I have a LATCH Manual in my car, I can look up the specifications for LATCH in the morning. Can you private message me a reminder? I will probably need one :)

Is it that the belt is not locking? Where are you trying ot install the seat and with what kind of belt?

Sorry, I missed this earlier.  Nissan defers to the LATCH limits set by the restraint manufacturer.    Since Britax dictates 40 lbs unless stated otherwise,  you must use the seatbelt at 40 lbs.
