2nd uterine infection

I can't believe that I was at the ER for 5 hours last night getting diagnosed with my 2nd uterine infection. I had a c/s + complications 13 weeks ago and had a really tough recovery. Any advice on Uterine health. Feeling failed by, but dependant on, Western Medicine. On my 3rd round of antibiotics since my son was born. Not looking forward to all that comes with that. could really use some advice.

Times like this is when I wish there was a Csec support board for moms to go to.

I've never had a C/S. Here is what I would do:

I would visit my local acupuncturist (can't hurt.) I used to see a Chinese Acupuncturist and he helped me tremendously with constipation (due to a bad tear/scar after first birth) and lifelong incontinence.

(I'm seeing a Chiropractor regularly now, which is I know is helping my BMs stay totally regular. I know it's weird to be happy about that, but you don't know what I've been through.)

Maybe a naturopath too... see what they say. Perhaps they can give you something else BESIDES antibiotics (which doesn't seem to be working. : )

Western medicine is "OK" but lacking, IMHO. I will use it, but I don't depend on it (or anything else) entirely.
