Congratulations!!!  thumb.gif

Me, too!  Well, I will be on Monday/Tuesday... close enough!  We will find out the gender on Thursday, as well as the fetal assessment.  We'll see if my BOY feelings are on target!  I can't wait to start preparing the little newborn clothes and cloth diapers.  We'll already have everything we need if it is a boy.

Yay!  I'm so excited that in a couple weeks I'll be finding out what the gender is and we'll be half way too!  So. completely crazy!!

Me too, today!  Though I'm trying not to tell myself "half-way" because I went 42 weeks with DD.  I guess I could consider next Sunday at 21 weeks half-way :)

It's really exciting-although I feel really unprepared in terms of baby clothes-we don't know what we are having so I am getting plain onesies and neutral colors. I guess I will send DH out after the baby is born to pick up whatever color we need! :D

I'm so excited gals in our DDC are hitting the halfway mark.  I keep doing a double-take looking at my pregnancy updates.  Can't believe I'm almost 18 weeks myself.  It seems to be flying by :D  Hope the second half goes beautifully for everyone =D

20 weeks today. joy.gif

I feel like this first half has flown by. If this pregnancy is anything like my other two winter babies, this last half will go by pretty quickly for me, too, with school starting, birthdays and Holidays all right around the corner.

I will be 21 weeks tomorrow so I feel like I am now halfway since I went almost 2 weeks over with DS.

sapientia - we are not finding out either so I feel the same way as you do, I plan to get a few items now and then after the baby comes I can send DH out to get whatever else we need. I am really wanting to buy some baby legs right now, but if its a girl I want to get really cute ones so I have to wait.

itsajenism - Yes I think as fast as I feel the first half went, the next half will go even faster with all the stuff we have going on. I am doing a 99% home made holiday so I need to get on crafting so I get it all done in time, I hope to have it all done by November 1st so I can enjoy the last 2 months and not be stressed out over the holidays.

Pogo, I finally got yarn for a baby blanket for this little one, but I haven't cast it on yet.  Too many other projects that I want to finish first!!  Socks for me, Sweater for DH and one for DD (both about 50% done), a scarf for my mom (maybe 40% done on that one)...but I look at the actual progress I make each day and realize that I really need to get on with new baby's blanket!  I wanted to make a fun onesie too, the bunting type I think, and a sweater/jacket, but we'll see how much time I actually have when it comes down to the wire :)  I don't think I'm knitting any Christmas presents this year with the list of things I want to do for my own immediate family, so at least I don't have to worry about that!

OOOhh I'm working on some homemade Christmas gifts as well! I'm crocheting some remnant yarn granny square lap afghans, washcloths, scrubbies...I'm also working on some felt woodsy animals to go with a wooden treehouse I picked up at a consignment shop for my 4 yo. I'm sure I will come up with a whole bunch of other crafty things before the holidays. I'm keeping busy.

Yeah, I feel like the second half of the pregnancy will fly by and I hope I can get everything done in time!

Clarasmama - I think it would take me the next 6 months to actually knit a blanket, I am only knitting a few things for gifts because I am so slow with knitting, but I still make a little bit of progress because I can knit while I sit with DH and watch tv. I am lucky to have my own sewing and crafting room but he gets upset when I stay in there and don't spend time with him. Most the gifts I make this year will be sewn or a fabric gift of some sort just because I am so much faster with a sewing machine. And it helps that I only give gifts to maybe 10-15 people, one gift or so per person. I just wish it was easier to come up with gifts for the men! I can make one of hundreds of things for the ladies in my life, but the men I am just so lost on what to do for them.

Sapientia - that treehouse sounds like its going to be awesome!

20 weeks today!!!  I can hardly believe it!!

Just hit 20 weeks yesterday. I cannot believe I am 1/2 way through. It seems like the pregnancies keep getting faster and faster. We will see though. I wonder if finding out the gender next week will make it speed up as it kind of felt a bit slow this past week or so but then again that could be because of the holiday.
