I'm wondering if it is just fat. We had a fattening lunch and it is sticking with me better this afternoon.

I got home from work Sat night at 7:30 and promptly passed out, slept til 7:30.  Then last night, I fell asleep while putting DD to bed and slept til oh about 7:15.  I feel pretty awesome right now.  Still permaqueasy, but awesome.  I missed getting to spend and sans kid time with DP, but he had band practice last night anyhow.

I've been insanely tired, too. Luckily, I've mostly been able to sleep long hours at night and not needing to nap during the day - but all of that may change tomorrow when school starts for the little guys.

The "mid day crash" hit full force for me over the weekend - I'm sitting at work and can barely keep my eyes open, or concentrate on anything for that matter! Would really really *REALLY* like to go home and take a nap right about now! Sigh.

Loading up on protein does it for me. Eggs with cheese in the morning, yogurt, big glasses of whole milk. Maybe the protein/fat combo? Haven't gotten into the m/s yet with this one. Hoping it stays away for as long as possible!

Alright, the only thing that has helped the wretched all day nausea so far is a tiny sip of very dry red wine. redface.gif

Totally works though... and I'm so not feeling bad about it.

Natural peppermint candy has been helping me tons with all day nausea.  Also smaller frequent meals with carbs.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned ginger, its supposed to help with nausea.  I personally haven't used it this pregnancy, but have in the past.

Ginger has not helped me at all.  Neither has peppermint tea.  But Altoids have really been doing the trick, as has been cutting out dairy. (I had to do that last pregnancy too.)

ginger did nothing for me. i also cut dairy. what is working now is sparklin water!

natural fruit popsicles are wonderful now, especially coconut.

Just anecdotally regarding ginger.  I have ALWAYS spotted when taking ginger.  Very light spotting, but spotting nonetheless.

So, not much has helped with the nausea, but today I got the idea to eat raw beets.  So I have been carving slivers off with my vegetable peeler and chewing them very well and whoa.  I almost feel like a human being again.

Growing up my dad HATED beets (well he still does) so we never had them. I honestly don't even know what they taste like. I'm glad it worked for you!

Yeah, I never ate them growing up either.  I think because they are not part of the local cuisine for either of my parents?  Anyhow, I first had them as a 25 year old and loved them instantly.  They taste like sweet dirt.  I prefer them cooked til they are really soft, but the raw is convenient.   I can't imagine why they are helping, but I don't care!  lol  My diet has completely changed since I got pregnant... went from being really animal product heavy to almost vegan.  It's funny, that happened last time too, but it went the other way.

I have started having nausea when I get out of the shower. I've figured out that it's the temperature change and me moving around a lot. The other day, I took my clothes to the bathroom and just put them on as soon as I got out of the shower, so I was in the bathroom for a few minutes longer without the drastic change in temperature. I realized yesterday, when I walked out of the bathroom to get clothes from my room, that it always happens after a shower, and only if I'm in my room putting clothes on. -- This has to be the weirdest thing ever.
