anylily - When I was TTC#1 I used to test at 8DPO all the time. When I finally got pregnant, I was still getting BFN at 12DPO and didn't get a BFP until 14DPO. So, that has kille my urge to test early! I've definitely seen ladies on MDC get BFPs at 9 and 10 DPO, but I figure since I know I'm not likely to get a BFP at that point even if I am positive, it's not worth stressing myself out with a BFN that likely isn't accurate anyways.

I sometimes have DH hide my HPTs though so I can't be tempted!

That's a spectacular idea! I will have to do that.

Oh, no, I hope you didn't misinterpret, sweetmama, I certainly didn't mean to offend!

I was laughing at what you put in parentheses:

Hey ladies, just a quick update.

I found out today that my husband has been cheating on me. This is not the first time, and I am officially done with him.

Mayday, please remove me from this thread. I wish all you ladies the best of luck.

Oh mama, I'm so sorry for what you must be going through right now. Hugs to you.

A post just for StudyingStones... honey I'm so so sorry for the rough time you're going through right now. greensad.gif The best advice I have for you is find someone IRL who can talk to you and give you advice... a counselor, a pastor, a girlfriend, a parent, someone. I am sorry that you have to deal with this. I'll keep you and your son in my thoughts, and I sincerely hope that you find healing and that you can recover.

Again, so sorry StudyingStones. hug.gif

To the ladies in the 2ww with me:

dakipode- woot for strategic BDing! I hope this is your month!!! Fertile thoughts!

SweetMama- I hope this is the last month for you too! Fingers crossed that you back in "waiting to O" for a long time!

lenny- I'm trying to be zen as well... except I'm pulling up my chart on my iPhone in the middle of the day just to look at it. Lol. When I told my Dr I was TTC, she said to BD every other day starting at day 10... then when I get my positive OPK to DTD that night and the next 2 nights (so 3 in a row), then skip a night, and BD 1 more time. After that just BD for fun when the mood strikes. wink1.gif

We didn't get that 3rd BD time in this cycle, but I'm still hopeful!
LittleKind- thanks for the positive thoughts! I echo you: "hopefully this is my (and your ) month smile.gifjoy.gif"

Not afraid of morning sickness... however I am afraid of being exhausted all the time! I cannot function without about 9 hours of sleep, with less I live for Starbucks lattes. If I go more than 1 night without enough sleep, my body shuts down, I get a headache, a stomachache, and am miserable until I take a nap or go to bed.

My 2 best RL girlfriends are (or were very recently) pregnant with their first. One of them is a SAHW and kept saying how tired she's been this pregnancy and how glad she is that she doesn't have a job and could just lay around in the morning and take naps during the day. The other got pregnant right before school let out (she's a teacher) so she's talked about how exhausted she was and how wonderful it was to not have to work and take 2 naps a day.

I have a full time desk job, 35 minutes from home. There won't be any napping during the day for me, so I'm scared of what being so tired is going to do to me.

twilightjoy my first symptom with my son was falling asleep in the car while my husband drove us home for dinner. My son was a surprise so it wasn't until my bfp that I learned fatigue is a big sign, haha. I worked full time and it was hard!! Eating well, taking a brisk midday walk, and sleeping 11 hours a night (8 to 7!) got me through. I am afraid of nausea because I have a weak tummy. The things we'll go throujgh for the little ones!

I'm also dreading the extreme fatigue. I have been pregnant two other times, and my most memorable symptom from the first trimester was debilitating exhaustion. At the time I worked as a waitress, which is a fairly physical job, but only part-time hours. So I would go work my lunch shift and then come home and nap all afternoon. Now I'm working a much less physical job, and fewer hours even, but I have the full-time job of running after my VERY high energy toddler.

I worked FT at a desk job during my first pregnancy, 40 mins away. I would still manage to get in catnaps -- sometimes I would go to my car during lunch and get a power nap. Other times, I would hide in an empty office and lay down (I would leave the door open but hide under the desk!). It's totally legitimate to have 10 minute breaks from time to time, though of course I wouldn't advertise it!

I'll come back and read everyone's posts later, but I am bummed as AF came this weekend greensad.gif So please move me to Waiting to O Thanks again for all the support, I'm sure I'll need it this cycle as well. Going to take a break for a few days I think and then I will catch up with everyone.

yeahthat.gif I don't remember being insanely tired, but I was definitely more tired than usual. And I also took catnaps under my desk with the door open. Sometimes I would just eat at my desk while working and then spend my lunch break napping there. My girlfriend at work and I would say I was "pulling a George Costanza." (Anyone else remember that episode?)

How do you ladies get the tiny chart icon by your name that links to your FF?

StudyingStones...   I am so sorry. Stay strong, you and your son will get through this together.
